H.E Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Aballa Ali Eltom presents his credentials to President of India

The , Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Al-Tom presented on Thursday 20 February 2025 his credentials to President Smt Droupadi Murmu as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan to the Republic of India at the Presidential Palace in New Delhi.

The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of H.E the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to Her Excellency President Murmu, as well as to the government and people of India. He expressed Sudan’s pride in its historical ties with India and reaffirmed the Sudanese leadership’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in all fields, particularly as Sudan embarks on the reconstruction phase following the continuous victories of its armed forces against the rebellious militia. He also emphasized Sudan's keen interest in establishing a strong partnership with India to support efforts in rebuilding and rehabilitating infrastructure.

For her part, H.E President Droupadi Murmu welcomed the Ambassador and assured him of the Indian government’s full cooperation in his efforts to enhance bilateral relations, highlighting the shared similarities and historical bonds between the two nations. She wished him success in his mission.
